About Us:
Paul is originally from the Lehigh Valley. He grew up surrounded by beautiful farmland while being influenced by the Pennsylvania German culture that is prevalent throughout the region and also an important part of his family heritage. Shoofly Pie, Tart Cherry Pie, Lebanon Bologna, Scrapple with Apple Butter, Kraut and Fastnachts have always been part of his family’s home cooking traditions. Not only are these foods rich in fat and calories, but they are rich in cherished Pennsylvania German history.
Andrea grew up in the suburbs of Central New Jersey. This area is a mix of both rural and city life where her French Acadian parents transplanted themselves to from Maine. One week she’d be visiting farm markets nearby, or camping in the Poconos. The next week she might be on a trip to New York City to see a musical or the art galleries of SoHo. Being the only French Acadian family in town, her family’s traditional comfort-food recipes for poutine, tourtière pie and dynamite sauce were at that time completely unheard of in the area.
With our award-winning fine arts backgrounds, mixed with a love for cooking and culinary-inspired traveling, we knew we had the potential to create and offer something truly unique. As a photographer and stylist team capturing images of food, drink and interior environments, our abilities allow us to accommodate a niche within the hospitality and food industries. Our style is adaptive and dictated by intuition with solid goals in mind. Paul’s expertise in lighting allows him to create natural daylight on a dark rainy day, but we can also set up highly stylized lighting for a studio approach at any location. Andrea’s styling abilities are inspired by her love for painting and sculpture, allowing for ordinary food and drinks to be elevated to fine art.
We live in a beautiful rural area in upper Bucks County, Pennsylvania with our two creative and hilarious daughters and our two demanding cats. We are central to the Pennsylvania, New Jersey & New York region and available nationally. Photoshoots are either on-location or in studio environments with all the creative resources available for a successful production. Since COVID-19, remote photoshoots have of course become very much in demand and we are happy to accommodate these from our home studio.
